Awhile. But there is an easier way to do it. Get a bunch of high-ranked people, go into big team battle (I think...) and slayer: get 50 kills, oddball: hold the ball the whole time, etc. you get lotsa xp. But I don't do it like that.
You have to remember that it is not all about how much you play its about your skill so the more headshots you get or kill/death ration is how you will rank. -Donuts
I honestly believe what I read about a month ago. Ranking up is about consistently winning. ...unless your account is screwed up - then, if you win 15 games in a row, you still won't level up. ^ I believe in that whole heartily. ------------ Donuts - Why am I not a level 50 then? It doesn't take K/D ratio into account. I promise. The good kill/death ratio people just win a lot - In a row. ------------ Click here for an In-depth view at the Halo 3 ranking system.
I like the ranking in **** of Duty:4 Modern Gayfuckstupid (hahaha, just a quote) Although, I do admit it is really fast (and pretty nooby) it still is fun. But it still has a better ranking system because you don't lose EXP and ect. How I rank up in Halo 3 (and meet new friends ^__^) is to just go play some Team Slayer and get the rank I need (Example: I have level 30 in team slayer for Major) and then after I get the required rank, I go play some Social Slayer just for the points. That is a great way to get it up, but you can do the same for Ranked Team Doubles instead of Ranked Team Slayer, some say it is quicker and I see their points but I personally like Team Slayer better because I like working with more than one person for the tactics, experience and the fun of making more than one person laugh at a time ^__^
