Haha, ok, that's a picture of alpine, not your map. Yes it has some of your own creation featured in it, but only a bridge and a bunch of rocks. People need to see what you've got in order for them to be interested. The argument could also be made for my escape map but it has a very understandable and clear reason as to why there are no pictures of the map present in its post because of the description is just that "descriptive". Simply putting "a fun and fair clan map" really isn't enough. I know raids are very well understood in your community, but we're forgers and raids really aren't a thing here so this will just end up making no sense to some people. I'm afraid clan maps get rough treatment from the average forger, so if you want to post one here and get people interested in it and maybe even playing it, you got sell it, my guy. Over all I think you should add at least 3 more images given how expansive raid maps can be and list all the details of it in the description. Also, you mentioned that its a "fair" raid map, which I assume means you have some opinion on how bias current raid maps are. So elaborate, discuss the issues with raids, show your knowledge. Understanding what you've made and why it is the way it is shows a lot of the veterans here that you aren't just throwing maps at the site with no care for the integrity or quality of what it is that drives you to make forge maps. This probably seems really left field and I apologise if it came off as me being arsey. But it speaks more to the issues we've been having with new members recently which isn't their fault, rather than your post specifically. Hope to see more from you, mate!
Sorry, I'm not used to forms and such I just trying to get a handle on these things and how the site works. I specialize in video editing and map showcases and my new slayer map is still on its test phases but I wanted to get my name out there so posted my raid map from a couple of years ago.
As I said, don't be discouraged by this. We should only aim to help new members learn the ropes. If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to get in touch. As for that slayer map, I can't wait and I hope some of the core forgers chip in with some feedback after its posted.
