Rick's Recap Overall Enjoyment Durability Aesthetics Originality Balance 7/10 5/10 7/10 6/10 9/10 7/10 Map Review Haiku: A changing racetrack... QR-SSS X2 ...with a nonsense name. Review: Enjoyment: I just kind of drifted through the map. It was very flat compared to many of the other racetracks out there, even after all the stuff appears. I hear it's more fun with fewer people, though. Durability: It's WAY easy to just park in some of the narrower spots and completely stop the flow of traffic. This promotes people actually doing this, and leads to chaos of the bad kind. It seemed pretty ok overall, though. Aesthetics: Very foundry. Very square. I like that it gets mixed up as the game goes along, though. Originality: Good idea, but I think it's a little too difficult to execute, even in foundry. Balance: It needs to be a lot wider to be well balanced (I'm not sure how this category applies to race maps, though). Rick's Suggestions: -Make it curvier. All the boys like curves nowadays.
It's fun with two people, especially if you have a friend over and you two just want to do some racing. :squirrel_wink:
Yes it is much more fun with less people. Thanks Cosmic Rick for the review, I really see what you like in a race map and my map is not really focused on wide curves. It would be nice but foundry is to small and and no other map has the resorses that it dose.
I going to have to base my review on what I remember about my solo play-through, as I apent almost the entire review team game stuck here. Yeah, you might want to fix that. Otherwise, I'm a really big fan of Bungie 500, so I'm glad to see you make such a great attempt at furthering the standard it set for racing maps. The track is much improved from your previous version. It has been nicely polished aesthetically, and is much smoother now. It's nicely varied, and the changing sections seem to work well (aside from the trapping players issue), and they really make the map stand out amongst race tracks. I don't have much to say on this one, seeing as I didn't get to play the game with the team (sad face), but great job. Enjoyability: 8/10 Durability: 5/10 Aesthetics: 8/10 Origionality: 7/10 Balance: 8/10 Pred's Overall Score: 7/10
This raceway is unbelievable! A changing track? Genius! I think this is one of the best raceways I have seen in a while. The layout is smooth, and the usage of shield doors here to assist turning is well done. The Man-Cannons however look a little cumbersome to use though, and some of the turns look really sudden. Overall, excellent. This is worth a Download. - Shadow
I love this mao its very fun I especially like how you used timed map events so well it gve the map a really good feel as you drive through it very good job.
It makes it so the person who is ahead could hit a wall that appears out of nowhere and loses the lead.
