Pyramid Ruins Made this a while ago when sandbox first came out with halo wars. It's playable and has equipment and weapons placed around already. Supports, Slayer/CTF/Zombies I think it also supports Assult/KoTH The spawn system needs fixing, depending on gametype. If it is going to turn into a zombie map, vehicles need to be removed. I might go and turn this directly into a zombie map, altho I am busy atm. So, If you want to download and edit into a zombie map, feel free just include me in credits as the creator. Download Map
playable with what? Slayer? Infection? This map looks awesome. Very well made and seems that you've put hard work in, some of the walkways look a bit edgy but until I've tried it out i wont comment =) looks nice to.
Hmm. What Gametypes are supported? If you remove the vehichles it would make a good FFA Slayer, KOTH, Infection and Oddball. Over all a very good map, if needing a bit of polish. I can't comment on gameplay as of yet but I'll DL and test it out. Ascetics 8/10 Gameplay _/10
This map does the best that I've ever seen to take advantage of the new stone look of Sandbox. I attempted to make a pyramid-type map when Sandbox first came out, as everyone noticed the ties to ancient Egypt. But anyway, not only is this fully playable, as you said, but it looks great too. Concept 9/10 (you did a successful pyramid!), Design 9/10 (and you made the pyramid for more than just looks, with architecture added in), and Crafting 9/10 (the pyramid looks awesome!). But I have two questions be answered, and these two questions will decide my download (which I am really thinking about, honest). 1) How many gametypes and what gametypes are playable? 2) What happens if you fall into the crypt hole?
It is playable with Slayer/CTF/Infection/Assult I think. Altho I'm sure the spawning system needs polishing. And the vehicles should be taken out and certain weapons removed if this is going to be an infection map. As I said, I made this around the week halo wars came out and sandbox was brand new. I really never went back to polish up gameplay, so =s The only area that is sort of bumpy is the CQC Shotty Maze on the top floor inside the pyramid, I didnt merge the walls into the floor, and just tied most together altho it isnt sloppy it just looks a bit sloppy. The crypt hole contains a kill ball, and above it on the top floor contains an overshield for those tempted to grab it and forget to jump while doing so. Risk for reward, altho it is easy to clear, it is also easy to forget about when fighting. Especially in FFA with radar going whack. I played with FFA and this thing plays hell with your radar, really chaotic. As for zombies, I'm not entirely sure. I think they spawn outside on top and the defenders on bottom floor.
:O i had the exact same idea never got around to doing it yet but now i see it has been done nice job this is exactly how i would have made it lol but in the skybox so you can risk falling, but very nice job i have 100 custom content already but i'll get it soon enough
If you could put some sort of gametype on this map it would be great. also you might want to consider adding the gloomy effect to make it have that acient egypt spooky pyramid feeling. nice job.
