Download Map Pyncushion Download Gametype Pins N Needles Pyncushion is a mini-game map that my friend Gaarn and I made. Off the bat, I am telling you that this map is NOT aesthetically pleasing. It is a rather complicated concept and requires a few honor rules. The best way to explain the map is through the screenshots. Anyway, the map is centralized around the needler as the name implies. It takes between 7-13 minutes to play each game. PART 1 RULES and ABIILITIES abilities - shields - none - no recharge - damage resistance - 10% - speed - normal rules - shoot the other team, not your own This is where the Blue Team spawns and the red team The middle of the map. This picture basically explains the game. The shield doors are floated about five walls high off of the ground. This allows the needles to bounce off the ground and on to the other side but it prevents straight shooting. You have no shields and 10% damage resistance so you die almost instantly after getting hit. The needlers lose there homing powers after they hit the ground so it is fair. The red team at their best View from behind a red team player Mah CRAAAAAAZY triple kill!!!! After 90 seconds, the mancannons/gravlifts spawn, pushing the team off to the side and up into the next room which is... ...this. This is where the first honor rule comes in to play, as you see there are two teleporters. The one without the custom power up has to have only 1 person go through it. There is a system to block other members but it does not always work. The rest of the players have to go through the teleporter with the custom powerup. This powerup will give you extra shields so you should probably wait before both rushing in at once. After you go through the custom powerup teleporter, you'll move to one of the sides of the back hallway, these are to let your shields charge up. The other teleporter will bring you here, the br box PART 2 RULES and ABILITIES abilities - shields - 2x oversield - slow recharge rate - damage resistance - 2000% - speed - normal Rules - no shooting the guy in the BR box - no camping the back rooms Note: this part of the map was influenced by Cosmic Rick's Teamwerks arena Because of the settings that that the custom powerup imposes, people are incredibly hard to kill, but once they lose their shields, the br guy can get a head shot for 3 points. Or you could kill him for one. This is the arena Target people one on one or focus on one person, do whatever you need to bring down the enemies shields. Get that well placed headshot for the easy hill and the 3 points. View of the side of the arena, the overshield gets picked up instantly after you come through the teleporter. This then allows the dumpster to fall, blocking the teleporter, sometimes the dumpster will disappear though. So that's the map, post any questions or things you don't understand, Thanks!
I like how you had two maps in one because when a team dies in the first round they can kill the other team on the second! Great map and keep forging matt102992!

Wow, your system to shift over the games was very clever. Your first game instantly caught my attention. It's like the whole ricochet with snipers thing (a game I actually dont' like) and turning it into an automatic ricochet game with slower bullets. The whole idea is great because you can actually make an effort to dodge the bullets. As a matter of fact, I liked the first game so much... that I didn't really want to play the second one! (sorry!). But seriously, I think that you really should remake this with just the first game. That one in my mind is a wining mini game. Still, what you have here is very interesting and unique. You made a good effort to keep the game honor rule-less. Great concept and good job.

Yeah, this is the first collab I've done and I think it turned out pretty good. If anyone ever wants to try it just send me a message, I really haven't gotten much chance to play it but the few times I have it's been fun.

i liked it until you threw that honor rule in there because...well the people that i mostly play with dont realy follow the honor rules, they kinda do whatever they want to
Yeah, we wanted to make it honor rule free but we couldn't quite figure it out. Thanks to the very small amount of you that commented :\
talk about original.... this is pretty dang awesome. The whole bounce the needles under the shield doors to kill looks really promising
Personally, I like the first game better. The second game is cool but there are some drawbacks. If you are playing with people who either don't listen to you or don't know what they're doing, the first game is easier to understand. If someone doesn't know how to play the second game they can ruin it.
