This behavior completely baffles me. If you don't put any effort into your presentation, nobody is going to give a ****. My face when i click on a map thread and there's no information about the map. This should be common sense. How would you make it through grade school if you hand in sloppy work? You don't need to spend hours cropping headers in photoshop or pen a novel, thesaurus in one hand as you come up with 30 different ways to describe a ramp on your map. No, the bare minimum you need to do is put at least 3 mothafucking screenshots of your mothafucking map in the thread and tell people what it is about. Mothafuckers. For those people who aren't aware that it is 2016 and your Xbox console has a built in screenshot feature Spoiler Step 1: Taking the Screenshot Load up your map in a custom game for exactly one minute, and make sure to wait out the timer so that the game completes. This will create a film that can be viewed in theater as your current Watch Film. Make sure to load up the custom game footage if you want to avoid forge objects appearing in the shot. Enter theater and position the shot you want to take. Make sure all UI is cleared off of the screen so that just your map geometry is showing. Double tap the Home Button (central X shaped and glowing) and then press Y on your controller. This will save the screenshot. Step 2: Transfer to Computer Visit http://xboxdvr.com/ or http://xboxclips.com/. Enter your gamertag. Navigate to Screenshots. Click on the screenshot you want. Right click on the Download button and select 'Save Link As'. Step 3: Posting the Screenshots If you are posting images in a forum thread, click on the 'Upload a File' button and select the image/s you want. If you are posting images in a map thread, click on the 'Upload Images' bar, which is directly under the 'Description' section and select the image/s you want. When the image has successfully uploaded, you will see it as a small thumbnail. If you are posting images in a forum thread, there will be 2 buttons next to it, one that says 'Thumbnail', and one that says 'Full Image'. You should select Full Image. If you are posting images in a map thread, they will automatically be added to the slider.
I download my images for Halo straight from Waypoint since any screenshot or game clip taken in Halo 5 loads under the file browser. Better file resolution for me. I agree with you, Goat. It isn't good if you want people to download the map and you have 1 terrible screenshot and "hi" in the description.
