Back to Prototype... I got the game today and played it for 10 hours straight. Needless to say, I love it. Just cruising about the city, scaling buildings and jumping/gliding hundreds of feet across the skyline is just a blast for me. The battle mechanics could be better, but with the events, hints, and landmark collectables spread across the map, there is plenty to do if you need a break from deading folks. The missions aren't too difficult to annoy you to the point of throwing controllers, but they aren't easy either. Overall, I wish you could do more combos etc in the beginning, but I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute I have played so far. I highly recommend it.

I got it today and **** if it isn't an insane game. Just the overall feel of power is what I love. It reminds me of the Nintendo Gamecubes, Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. Where you can do missions, or just rome and blow the **** out of everything.

The powers are great I think. I love the claws, and how hitting someone chops them in half, its fun. Also, consuming people is awesome hehe.

So yea I'd agree with ShaddoBlade. It's great, entertaining and not tooo difficult. Out of 10,

    9.2/10

This is my thought on Prototype.

I've played it and was totally unimpressed. The graphics are decidedly sub-par and the missions are extremely bland (among other things, which I did not enjoy). Needless to say, I will not be purchasing it. After all the lauding it got on its run-up to launch, it has been an ultra let-down.

Infamous, on the other hand, is exceptional.

I haven't bought a game since World at War, and it looks like I'm going to be waiting a bit longer. From what I'm hearing the missions are similar in design and the graphics aren't up to date with technology. I don't really care about graphics, but for sandbox games the missions are the gameplay, and giving you fancy hands that cut people up doesn't excuse boring plotline and mission structure.
