Prophecy By HEROEZ BLADE117 and grif otaged Map Description This ancient structure was untouched for ages. Now that its presents is known the battle rages on to control its power. How it came to be Well first of all grif otaged made the basic layout and design of this map but decided to let someone else finish it. So I took on the responsibility by adding more cover, detail, spawns, weapons, effects, and gametype objectives. So now its finally finished. This map works with team slayer, slayer, and crazy king(teams enabled). I like the grass part of the map in the pics, but it looks like a lot of the map would benefit if you added rails to the walkways and platforms. As it is right now it looks like it would be pretty easy to fall off of. P.S. Remember to take your pics from a Custom Game not Forge. Then you will not have all of the killzones and respawns in the pics. You should also check out the Tester's Guild. They can help you improve your maps one test at a time.
The only reason I take the pics in forge is so people can see the layout of the spawns and objectives. Plus I didn't have anybody at the time to do a customs game with. I would have added railings but i wanted to stick to the theme of it being an abandoned structure. I have tested the map and its not as easy to fall off as you think it is. I also know about the testers guild already I just want to post maps the way they are so people can give me ideas of what to change.
Nice map though i would suggest adding more spawn points, they look as though it would easy to predict where the opponents are spawning. Also the ones in the fourth picture looks a bit open, maybe leading to spawn killing...
You could add railings but make some of them hanging off, that will give you the abandoned feature you want.
Would making the railings hang off really add to the cover issue? I agree that it would look more abandoned but if it does not add cover than there is almost no point in putting it there. Thanks for the suggestion though.
