I have just posted a map on the mlg section but i cannot seem to get many peoples comments so i cant improve. What is the best way to promote your map whilst sticking to the rules?
Make the thread very nice looking. Make banners and stuff for the thread and edit the pictures. People will then enjoy the thread it will more likely post. Also put the map in your sig. If you really want people to see it have someone make you a sig on the map and use it in your signature and that only. GL also if you post the link to the map I will comment
yes i'm pretty sure the signature works the best, I would really only know cuz i click on signature placed maps a lot. I don't really have many maps of my own.
Yup, put a link in your sig, and experiment with photoshop. I love designing pretty much my entire post in there, and it makes the thread a lot more appealing than a standard, normal-font, untouched-image thread.
