I'm working on a new minigame using the Assault game mode as the base. I need to have regular players be invulnerable (or super strong with fast recharge), and the ball carrier needs to have regular health. Based on the testing that I've done, it seems that the Player Traits still have an impact on the Carrier. I tried turning on Deathless for the Player, and made sure that it was turned off for the Carrier, and the Carrier could not be killed. If someone could confirm that I'm not crazy, then that would be nice. If someone can figure out a solution to my problem, then that would be amazing. I haven't experimented with Capture the Flag game mode settings enough to know if this is an issue with CTF as well. 2 theories. Either 100% for Carrier means default to the Player Trait, or there's some sort of stacking going on.
Not able to check this at the moment, but try setting the player traits with very high percentages, and the carrier traits very low. Deathless may not transfer, but the % might. Will check when I get a chance.
Thanks. I'm fairly confident that the Carrier Traits are relative to the Player Traits, so I was able to get the result I wanted by exaggerating things. I think Deathless transfers from the Player to the Carrier.
