As some of you may know, I had RRoD and sent my Xbox away. 4 weeks later I get my new one and did all the requirements, what the papers it came with told me to do such as re-downloading all of my old data and arcade games. About a week ago I tried playing Castle Crashers to find all my character's levels were reset to 1. I didn't mind to much but after I finished playing it from the start, I got to level 5, quit the arcade game and decided I still wanted to play so I went back into the game to see if my data saved but it didn't, my Orange Knight's level was again, reset to 1. One of my friends told me that Castle Crashers will only save data on the console that you originally downloaded it on so I tried deleting it, then re-downloading it again but to no avail. Can anyone help me or is this one of the issues that the "Title Update" that was announced in September going to address?

Okay just out of curiosity, did you keep your hard drive when you sent the Xbox in? Cause maybe it has something to do with that.

Xbox Support Line tells you not to send your Hard Drive when you call them as one of the details for sending it in, you should know that since you have no Xbox right?
Interesting, I'll try that as soon as I get home since I'm at a friend's house curently, but that looks like the problem. Thank you, hope it works, I'll keep you updated.

Does Castle Crashers really have that much replay value?

I actually never beat it, I got my RRoD while playing it. I think it has replay value, but only if you play with your friends and have a good time, so in otherwords, Multiplayer > Singleplayer like a lot of games these days. It's definatly worth the 1200MS points if you have people to play with since, as I said before, it big on multiplayer and is almost a party game. Probably one of the best beat-'em-ups I've seen in a long time. So in short, if you like beat-'em-ups you can play with friends, then yes it does have great replay value.

EDIT: THANK YOU, Kidbomer, once I followed those steps on the site you supported I got it to work. You're my hero, although I do have to restart from scratch but at least I can save data. I owe you one!

Can a mod lock this thread now, please?
