PREDATOR Click Picture to Download Map Gametype: Needed As you all know by now, This map is based of the Movies "Alien Vs Predator" and the sequals. In this game, 15% of the peopl in the party (6-16) Spawn as Predators, and the rest are the humans. The job of the humans is to stick in a group and take out the predators, but its not soo easy. The Predators are equipped with swords and are virtually invisable. Traits of Humans: Weapons: AR, and Shotgun Normal speed Normal health No radar No waypoints Traits of Predator Weapons: Sword, Plasma Pistol 200% speed 10% Gravity One shot kill Radar Waypoints of humans PICTURE TIME Descriptions are Above the pictures. Human Spawn Point First Hallway to run through. Second Room The main Room. The backup room. Next 2: Between the backup room and main room. Side rooms. Predator Spawn room After 10 sec. This looks like a well planned out map, but the fact is that no one wants to play a map that isnt geomerged or interlocked. I' sorry but until you do that, you wont get many Downloads. i will DL though just because I like the predator maps. Keep Forging. EDIT I'm sory I must ave missed the comment about the lazy mp makers contest. If thats the case then very nice job on the map. It looks nicely uninterlocked.
I'm not getting a feel for this totally awesome map because it looks like you can grenade jump out. Is this possible or will the level boundaries stop you? Zombies look like they can get out with their 10% gravity.
I'm a little confused in this map. Are all of those just long tunnels leading to those walls? I understand the concept of AvP, but I'm just confused about the map.
Your allowed to go anywhere in this map, but there are no granades The point though is to stay together, for if you leave off on your own the predator has waypoints and will find you very quickly. Ans no those arent tunnels, those are just open boxes and other foundry stuff to run around.
Eh buddy. Nice map... Map: Looks good, and should play well for Predator. I personally love predator. you give plenty of hiding spaces. i like the scenery and aesthetic touches you throw in for added effect, that always helps out these maps. Also, i like how you didn't feel like you had to interlock the entire wall. Down with interlocking!! jk, interlocking is good, but only where necessary. Game: Predator has been made before, and is incredibly fun. so i guess all i can say is that this map should play predator really well. Final Comments and Rating: Really nicely made map. And will play predator really good. One of the great predator maps i've seen. 9/10 **Note to Y35:** Great job on the map, man. We should forge again sometime... maybe. Last time it ended up pretty good. Just send me an INV sometime, I'd love to help.
interesting map but no interlocking.still this isnt true my first map had no geomerging or interlocking and it had pleant of veiws and Dl. my second map only had on isntance of interlocking and it has over 200 dls. it doesnt matter. just saying ive never played a predetor map so it might not need interlocking at all.
There doesn't need to be any interlocking, i have played this game hundreds of times and somehow i found this to be the best placement of items, so i took it and Fixed everything up to make it playable, and if i would have interlocked alot of stuff (yes i do know how, check out my other maps) then some of the jumps wouldn't be able to be made.
hey Y35 knows what hes doing. he said that its an entry for the lazy mapmakers contest BTW. and if you don't know that that is, keep paying attention and look around the site. and interlocking shouldn't decide the popularity of the map. the design and construction should matter more. and this one has brilliant design and construction in Predator, the zombies don't need to stay in the map boundaries. they can go anywhere. its part of being the predator and stalking your prey
i would like it if it had more cool features like have it closed in and have little secret passage ways thats what i would like
I Will keep coming out with Predator maps, next time the predator will get more health and not jump as high, and it will be like a clue map sortof
very unorigional i've seen this predator gametype like 8-13 times and this map is extremly simmeler to the first map made. but this map does looks like a good addition. but i still have to argree with arby hes like 3 comments down from me and I didnt meen thirteen maps ive seen the gametype like 13 times
well im glad to see all the posts on it =] and trust me, you should have seen what we did to this what it looked like before, and what it is now.. wow there i no need for interlocking mainly because it wouldnt have the same feel.. this map has epic gameplay, i guarentee it, why you ask? because me and Y35 rock your socks =P
Firstly, Predator has never been done before. Secondly, I hate to be mean, but your maps is fairly poor in my opinion, even for a "lazy" map (which I have nothing against). Keep practising, and I'm sure you can come up with something good.
Ofishul Yes ur map is bad an smely cus ther no locks or merges. Other than that, I have to say Good job, a very sexy predator map, even though I am horrible at this thing. I like the predator delay, it gives the humans more of a chance to get used to everything before they get hunted down and killed, one by one.
Don't show me the map! I'll want to play it! No, but the setup is very nice. The crashed truck scene looks very cool, unfortunately, there is little to no interlocking. Never the less, it still looks tight!

Why? because i didn't use interlocking? yes, i do know how, but to make this map as big and to make it possible i made sure to not interlock anywhere. You will never play this because you think its bad, but this map is solely based on gametype
