That's the problem with the old non-dlc maps, people just assume the forger did not spend much time thinking or working with the map because most of the forging techniques are not available, which is wrong. Half the maps created before the dlc packs came out had one sole purpose: to ensure the best quality of gameplay and they did their job. Now, it seems like most people would rather download a map that is asethetically pleasing to the eye than a map which has remarkable gameplay. I also believe that anyone that thinks it takes 5 minutes to make is an ignorant retard. but what i like about foundry is to also so the creative things they can do with all the objects on it. gameplay is the most important thing but i still like to see people change a regular bland warehouse into something that is fun and also great to look at.
i love foundry, and i am very muchso into making foundry maps as unique as possible. i was merely defending the other side of it too. I have several foundry maps in the works, but its just nice to once in awhile step back and turn an old classic into something new.
