Hey guys, long time no speak. Listen, I typed "halo" into my browser looking for the Halo subreddit looking for info on the Halo 3 session going on today, but FH came up first. I'm sure you know but today is the 6th anniversary of Halo 3, so I'll be on after about 8pm GMT, as will loads of other casuals who'll be coming back on for the occasion. My GT = EpicFishFingers, message me if you're online. Sorry to be off-topic in the off-topic thread, this is where the random FH suggested link took me too. Good to see some old faces on here again
I need to make an adaptive invention/innovation for my engineering class yet im completely stumped on what to do. I have had ideas, but they werent practical, atleast for me to build, like an automatic bow reloader, or heated socks. anyone have any ideas?
Get a raspberry pi, a dog bowl, a small motor, and a paint can or similar size bucket. Make an app that lets you feed your dog/cat from your phone. That **** is probably in sky mall already but hey homemade **** like that looks cooler.
raspberry pi is overkill for that. you can probably get an off-brand arduino/pcb to work just fine tbh. Sparkfun is pretty good at that **** and cheap. it requires a little bit of coding or hacking a bunch of different scripts the community put together though. just make something more efficient but more costly (i.e. sinusoidal wheels, asymmetric braking for better turning, kickstarter project ****, etc.)
