The combat is too much like cod for me, and I can't really tell the difference other than the weapons, the scenery, and the characters.
i dont see cod in the combat at all. sure theres ordnance drops and customized classes and whatnot, but at the bare-bones combat, it isn't cod. that's just a silly thing to say. the day halo becomes a twitch shooter, i'm out.
Well it isn't cod, it is just getting more and more like it. I find that I can easily run in to a gunfight vs 2+ enemies and kill them all without losing my shields, and its not like I'm playing god awful players either. I just feel like the game has changed to become more adaptable to the more popular cod series while straying away from some of the unique factors of the halo series
and i feel like you're just saying things just because other people are. but its only a feeling, i can't know for sure.
Every concern I had about generic Halo 4 being more like Call of Duty has been assuaged. It plays nothing like CoD.
Well I've only had a small sampling, and haven't played the new cod, but I could be completely wrong, but this whole killcam business actually pisses me off, also instant respawn, wtf.
Only thing that upsets me about the killcam is how the smallest of lag can make a killcam look like a horrendous glitch, otherwise I don't see the issue with it. Sure it gives away sniper positions and what not but thats why the shots leave trails in the first place, so as to encourage a good sniper to maintain mobility. Oh and the instant respawn depends on playlist and gametype.
So aside from Halo and 343i... can anyone say next best game series ever? Bungie.net : Well, that just happened They never cease to amaze.
Are all of those you, or did you clone yourself? [br][/br]Edited by merge: That looks pretty ****ing cool.
Chuck's right. Does Call of Duty have shitty maps that don't fit the game like Ragnarok? Halo 4 has overshield and active-camo pick-ups, but does Call of Duty? Does Call of Duty have Race, like Halo 4? Does Halo 4 have too many key-bindings, forcing you to use the D-Pad? Yep. I just assumed they were brothers. The one on the right is into Mirror's Edge, the one in the middle is into Avatar, and the one the left is the normal one. Goldilocks Principle. I hope I get to play as a guy in a grey winter cloak trudging through snow, and not a sentient tank with legs.
