I loooooooooved X-Men First Class. Michael Fassbender is seriously amazing.
The obvious flaws with first class is that it spits in the face of continuity. And you can't jump to defend that point by saying it's a new line of X-Movies or a reboot because it wasn't. All of the marketing for the movie said that it was about Patrick Stewart's Professor X and Sir Ian Mckellen's Magneto as they formed their friendship and eventual rivalry as young men in the 60s.
Apart from that Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique was pretty corny and the end of the movie seemed way too eager to draw the line in the sand and say "You're good, you're evil".

I know I spouted out a fair bit of negatives but the movie still rocks the **** and it's my favourite X-Men movie. Plus it had Kevin Bacon and you can NEVER have enough Bacon.

    YES!

I hope Fassbender gets to be Bond when they're done with Craig.
Fun fact: Michael Fassbender was on the shortlist to play bond for Casino Royale and came in as runnerup to Daniel Craig.

Screw the marketing man. First Class is great, X-men 3 is shitty, that's all I need to know.

I'm still waiting on The Wolverine and The un-named deadpool movie. Hopefully they'll rectify the horrible bastardization they carried of on deadpool in the origins movie.

is The Wolverine like an official reboot? Or is it still Hugh Jackman as wolverine doing Hugh Jackman stuff. And if its Hugh Jackman, will they link it to X-men First Class or the Trilogy/shitty movie with deadpool played by that guy who shouldn't play super heros.

Fairly certain The Wolverine is an official sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine which'd put it in the same continuity as the other 5 movies.

Continuity needs more inverted commas. X-Men "Continuity".

Yeah. It's about his time in japan, where he gets his ass kicked by some regular asian dudes, and decides to become a samurai.

If Ryan Reynolds plays Deadpool in a stand-alone deadpool movie I'm never going to watch it.

I'd watch a Deadpool movie no matter who is playing in it.
