Eh, our drummer doesn't rock out much.

 

Some things can't be pirated. It doesn't help that a lot of software companies are adding dongles which are nearly impossible to crack. Even if that weren't the case, I'm not after some DAW that you can download off of the Pirate Bay. I'm talking about expensive virtual instruments, effects and samples. All of which are harder to find than DAWs like Ableton Live, Reason, Pro Tools, etc.

On top of that, I have always liked (physical) analog synthesizers. I wish I had enough money to build my own modular rack. ;_;

I could make some awesome guitar effects with it too... Argh.

 

Here's an idea, and I'm not being obnoxious here, why not see what all you can do with real instruments, and then blend those tracks together?

 

Been did that. Indie isn't my thing really. I like metal (or at least the energy that can be heard from it) but I can't get into that style of playing. I am more into melodic riffs like The White Stripes and The Black Keys but I feel like I'm not good enough to be on their level. Basically, I wanna do **** that's different. I know it'd sound awesome but I can't attain what I need at this moment in time. So all I can do is *****. Haha.
