I never rent. It's either worth buying or it's not, and if it is, there's a good chance I might feel a longing to play it again someday.
I buy games like Portal 2 for sentimental value and so I can look myself in the face without disgust. Honestly, if I bought black ops and didn't buy Portal 2, I would be ashamed.
i judge movies and games on pretty much the same scale. the difference is, im paying another 40$ for like 8 times as much movie length and im in full control of the protagonist.
^Indeed. I'm bored. WHO WANTS TO PLAY PORTAL? Steam name is one of these: briankirchner, Klaydude11, or MitchuKus. I'm never sure which but try Klaydude11 first.
Not quite. If there were challenges/time trials or some insane puzzle dlc, I'd change my opinion, but sadly.. there isnt. I base my thought on replayability. I remember how to complete every level already, this is my second play-through. I'm disappointed I bought it rather than rent it on Xbox. After you beat both single player and multiplayer, what's there to do?
THEY NEED TO ADD COMPETITIVE MULTIPLAYER TO PORTAL BECAUSE THAT IS LOGICAL AND THEN CAMO WOULD DEEM IT WORTHY FOR PURCHASING noncaps
I was talking about dlc or challeges they could of implemented to prolong the time playing the game. The more time I spend on a game the more the personal value goes up for me. I'm calling it a "rental" because after around 20 hours of completing the damn game I'm going to close it and get on Minecraft. After you've completed the set challeges there's nothing to do.. other than redoing familiar levels which is not fun in a puzzle game. [br][/br]Edited by merge: I never said ANYTHING along those lines.
was i quoting you? [br][/br]Edited by merge: also, whats the deal with movies? those shitty things are only like an hour and a half
You did put my name in your little post there. I want something to do on the game after tommorrow, I did spend $50 on it.. -_- [br][/br]Edited by merge: I don't buy movies. I rent movies. My equation still stands.
