Grandparents were rich, which was divided among their children. Some were smart, invested the money well and earned some of their own, some blew it all. My mom was one of the smarter ones. Hopefully I'll be like her and be able to maintain a more than comfortable living. It's easy to say "oh it's all inheritance," but that's not true. There are tons of people who blow away all their parents inheritance.
