Pacmonster has reached G043R status. For reference: An instant contradiction in an argument is outright stating that no matter what the other person says they cannot change your opinion. By nature, an argument is meant to convince the other side of your viewpoint. By stating you are not open to the very possibility of a view change means the entire point of arguing is moot, as the other side could easily take the same stagnant position of "LOL NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY I WILL NOT CHANGE." In summary: You are arguing, but you are saying the very notion of arguing is immaterial, thus making your point completely moot. It's Rhetoric 101.
I really was going to let this go in the chatbox as time would have removed the whole pointless debate. Here however you have blatantly attacked my character without providing context and I cannot allow that to stand. The whole argument, believe it or not, was about family guy. TheSilenceBroken told me he thinks the show is much worse than when it started. I explained much of the writing staff are the same and that it is a parody show. Meaning that the style of the show could not change much. Silence gave me an example of stewie being a different character than from the start. I told silence stewie has been the way he has been since around Season 3. Silence agreed and said that's when the show started to go down hill. I refuted that by saying season 3 was a long time and it is not really a change in direction for a show if some things changed a bit like 10 seasons ago. SargeantSarcasm then weighed into this debate by saying the writing has not been good since some episode. Silence responded with something of the like, "both me and sarge agree the writing is worse". I responded with, and this is what most of Sarge's beef is about apparently, "That's all the proof I need". Then some long winded argument erupted in which I simply try to explain that, I thought obvious, piece of sarcasm. Sarge took it to mean that both his and silence's opinions were immaterial and pointless. I don't know why he made such a definite leap there but regardless, that is not what I was saying. If they provided better evidence to support their claims, or more than 2 people weighed in with similar opinions than I would have definitely reconsidered my position. However none of that was present and my sarcasm was a simple statement of two people sharing a viewpoint will not change my viewpoint on that particular statement. That is all it ever was. Somehow that turned into a statement of contradiction to what my stated point was, which makes no sense, and through repeated calls of "retarted" and "idiot" eventually sarge refused to understand I was not denouncing his or silence's opinions, just simply stating they weren't enough to sway my viewpoint. If not capitulating my views in the face of such over whelming evidence of the subjective viewpoint regarding the writing of season 1-2 episodes compared to episodes from season 3 and on, than fine. [TL;DR version] I realize that is a bit of a long read for most people on the internet and that most will likely not read it, but I just felt it unfair to bring a pointless argument from the chatbox into the PPC, especially out of context.] ¬.¬

I'm going to show how you can't understand simple terms restated over and over again, so people know how much like G043R you really are. Just wow sarge, when I thought you were going to take the grown up route, delete your post so I can delete mine, you do that. I had some respect for you in how you dealt with other matters but that really disappointed me. My entire case is laid out in my previous post, read it if you are confused about anything I said. It is clear you just want to argue for the sake of arguing and not for any moral gain. What is there to win here? You could have easily pm'ed that to me, or dropped it. No instead you keep flaming my name and continuing with a argument that at all times was completely pointless. The worst part is that you seem to not be able to comprehend how pointless it was and are seeking some sort of gratification in the views of people here in the PPC, which is again disappointing.
