I know right? Sometimes there are R movies that are only rated for cursing and there are also PG movies that are only rated for cursing. The rating system makes no sense but some movies I can see why it's R because a 13-year-old might not get it or get scared out of puberty. Linub, what's it like down there?
It's ****ing hell. [br][/br]Edited by merge: YouTube - "Where are you? Imma kill you. Smiley face." - Get Him to the Greek
Our screen classifications are as followed. Of course, you have to be a certain age to see a movie in cinemas on your own to begin with (probably 10, I'm not sure). Anyone can see these. Recommended but no legal restrictions. Recommended but no legal restrictions. Legal restrictions apply. Must be 15 to see, under 15s must be accompanied by 18+. Legal restrictions. Must be over 18. The same ratings apply to our video games, unfortunately, there's no R rating for video games. We're trying to get one but some games (Left 4 Dead 2) are drastically edited when they're too violent for MA. I'll give you some examples of what movies are what rated what: G - Toy Story, Monsters Inc., Lion King PG - UP, Star Wars, Shrek M - The Dark Knight, The Waterboy, Donnie Darko, The Prestige MA - Inglorious Basterds, V for Vendetta, Superbad, South Park Movie R - Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, American Psycho
Here's what I got from it. Spoiler In the beginning of the movie Frank wakes Donnie Darko up and in doing so he changes the natural path of the universe to a new alternate path. On this alternate path, Donnie learns that he has created an alternate path through Frank and the Time Traveler's Guide, and that he needs to set it back or the world will end. In the end of the movie Donnie creates a portal to send the jet engine back and kill himself to destroy the parallel universe by stopping himself from being awoken by Frank, and set the universe back on track so it doesn't end. I ****ing love Donnie Darko. [br][/br]Edited by merge: PG-13? don't mind me just mergin my way to page 15 merge [br][/br]Edited by merge: Hmm, only does one Merge per post.
Not sure actually. Most of it is explicit language and drug and sex references. Cartoon violence doesn't compare to actual violence. That's my best guess
