yea its not bad. my only issue is the honor rule. there's always gonna be someone who'll rip off the turret. i'm not dissin your idea, i'm just sayin ppl suck like that lol. what i would suggest, is to make a bin underneath where the turret is now. then, place a warthog in there and cover it up so the turret is sticking out. then disable vehicle use and you're set. i can't really remember if its more powerful than the normal turret or not, but that would make it immovable and eliminate honor rules
ya i know that, and i would have done that but i was out of money, but i did make it so 1) you can't pick the turret back up if you drop it and it takes alot of time to respond, so it is in the persons best intrest not to rip the turret off, but i know what you mean, people will break the honor rule.
Problem is a warthog is mig and creates easier jumps. This map is ment to be played at LAN party and ect. it really is a lot of fun when you play tower of power on this map

ok fair enough. if you can't eliminate honor rules, the next best thing is making it stupid to break them. if i had done this i'd just end up explaining to everyone "don't rip off the turret.. i'm not telling you, i'm advising you. because if you do, i will find you, kill you, and teabag the crap out of you." lol go with what works. anyways, i'm jus saying this from looks. can't get on xbox to try it now, so i'll give yout he benefit of the doubt. i do like you recreation of the center structure too, btw. the resemblance is clear, and i think you picked the perfect place to put it
lol ya that would work to. I only wish i could have made the center structure rotate like it did in the real version, but what can you.
Okay, fist off, a bit more interlocking would help. But, with said this looks pretty cool. I especially like the structure shown in the final couple pics. Very cool, nice construction but the Ascension like middle area seems like it should've been the focus point of this thread as the tower looks very untidy.
i will try to clean it up but you can only do so much once your map is built and you don't want to break it, but try it out and give me any other sugestions for if i decisde to make a second version.
This map could be a lot more better if everything was cleaned up. To me I can only identify it only by looking at the middle structure. I couldn't really tell it was Ascension without the middle part.
This is not a complete Asecesion remake because i decided to alter it for add fun and so it fits i foundary. What you call random stuff were put there for exact reasons, for both cover and decor.
I've seen this remake a million times and this one looks really sloppy in some places. I think you could do better if you took some more time.
what parts are you refering to, some parts look sloppy because of the materials they are made out of. And i did spend much hours and many test to get the so called "random stuff" to be placed in areas for maximum effectiveness.
Interlocking a smoothening out those walls would really help this map, itd be really hard to make a dish in the middle and it looks like you spent a lot of time doing it, but im afraid its maybe a little far away from one of the bases, looks like it could move a good 10 feet closer to the open side wall on foundry. btw ascennsion would probably be one of the hardest maps to remake.
