Slightly modified version of my older version of my desktop. I modified the graphics for the panel images/windows. If you look closely, it's yellow instead of orange, and there's a subtle gradient applied. That took a *****-long time to do, by the way. I eventually just cut it diagonally and applied a horizontal and vertical gradient on each one. If you're wondering why I put a panel at the top instead of the bottom. Well, besides for the Global Menu, I also found this applet that mimics the minimize/maximize/close buttons of the window menu. For maximized windows, I just took off the windows decorators, and it applies that applet. I also had to modify the original buttons to use the Elegant Brit ones.
Imageshack butchers the quality. However, it gets my point across. New visual style and just tweaked my rainmeter clock.
Sure, though it won't be amazing quality through imageshack, it should suffice. Its also widescreen, so. [media]http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/9806/bg10f.png[/media] There's another one which shows more of the lighter and an actual flame painted in rainbow colors. I'll try to find this one, its much better.
Okay, so I've been messing around with my computer all day, and I've completely revamped it aesthetically. I patched in a bunch of 3rd party themes, and now it looks like I'm using Windows 7 (I'm actually running XP Professional). I also found out how to make it so that only the icons show, not the names, when I have a program open in the taskbar. To top it off, I got a new wallpaper to match the new theme (I had to blackout the stupid Vista logo). I also use another monitor (I <3 extended desktop mode). So yea, that's my desktop. Oh, and I also have a replacement clock in the doc. (Hey, that rhymed) And you can see my old, boring layout in my post a few posts up.
Thats what i thought to, and if you have a dock then why have the quick launch out like that? i think it looks bad.
You have no taste for elegance. Personally, I don't like Sentinel at all. We obviously have very different preferred styles. Sentinel is just too sloppy IMO. And did you even look at my pic on the last page? I'm not saying you have to like it, we all have our own opinions, but I don't see how it could be ugly. EDIT: Let's compare.
