nice pics project reminds me of whyer's map promotion

 

It's all done with layer masks, lots and lots of layer masks.

 

Wow... I really like the one where the spartan is running through the street. The shadow could use a little work, a little jagged, but it's pretty sweet. And project is a god at this. Your pictures are so awesome, wish I had that skill. I might post some soon.

 

Wow, the battle scene in the snow is great. Project knows his way around the photoshop.

Oh, you meant something a little bigger? Well, I put these together for a-groeper (a.k.a. titaneve) for two star-trek-themed maps we put together. Sure, it's simple stuff, but there's nothing really spectacular aside from these that I have on-hand...

By the way, the Enterprise's background is completely my creation, no pulling it off the internet. All PS and Forge.

For those interested, these are both in aesthetic maps, but they are fully playable with companion gametypes. They belong in casual, but we're waiting to revamp both, especially the Enterprise's gametype... [/shameless plug]
