Possible Community Forge Project?

    Hey guys, so I was just thinking about scripting while designing my new map. I have to rescript from scratch because there was a server crash... anyway not gonna get into it, I was writing my script plan down so it was easier to follow and script later and I thought of some other uses for scripts.

    One in particular stood out. I know that people have done stuff like this before, but I thought it would be fun to start a community map/gametype, if anyone's interested.

    Essentially, this idea stemmed from the ability to spawn fire. I was thinking about how to use that and the obvious choice was... exactly! Zombies!
    Something big in Halo 3 and Reach were modified infection gametypes. We couldn't really do that in 4 (thanks 343) and we're still limited gametype-wise in general in 5 (thanks 343) BUT I think this could be possible and extremely fun.

    Essentially, we'd build this map around a gametype. Call it "Run." for example. The concept is that you gotta run from the zombies, last survivor gets a lot of points - so essentially the goal as the zombies is to get all the survivors, and the goal of the survivors is to be the last. So everyone is trying to outrun and outsurvive everybody else.

    Now, the zombies will be fast and essentially invulnerable. Not too fast, and the humans can outrun them with sprint, but essentially you don't want to be stuck fighting a zombie. But the humans have some ways to help them stay alive!
    For example, there is the occasional fire pit. The activation of a fire pit will start a single-use timed fire that prevents zombies from entering the area. Zombies are generally chasing, so being blocked off gives the humans a head start - but you don't want to stay there too long, because when the fire burns out, the zombies can enter the area.

    Potentially, lighting the fire will also create a way for the zombies to "flank" that takes longer but they could cut down the slower survivors fleeing the safety zone.

    The idea is to get to the last safety zone and hold out for as long as you can. Maybe the safe zone has weapons that can actually hurt zombies (like you reached your weapons cabin), or the first headshot weapons you can find (and zombies can only die to headshots) - maybe you were on the golf green when the infection began and you had to run here to start to fight, idk. The story can be worked.

    Anyway I was thinking about starting up this project and I was just wondering if anyone is interested in forging it with me! If I get a couple takers I think it would be a fun experience. If not... maybe I'll still do it on my own, idk.
