What weapon do you think is better? An assault riffle, a shotgun, a Splaser, a sniper, a mauler, or an energy Sword?(there is an other catagory.)
I would have to say br or sniper rifle. But if you are not good at the sniper stick to the br because it will get you out of a lot of tight spots if your aim is good.
Different weapons have their advantages and disadvantages in any battle. It's hard to choose just one. But if I did have to choose one weapon, I would agree with x Encounter x and say the Battle Rifle. It is definitely the most versatile as it can be deadly at almost any range if it is placed in the hands of an experienced wielder.
The sniper rifle has to be the cheapest weapon in the whole game. Instant kill with minimum of four kills if you are good with it.
Wow dude, you can't call the sniper cheap. It's a head shot that kills you instantly, not a torso shot (most of the time any way....[glitches])
The BR may be the most versatile weapon but the ability to strafe has to come into account, not to say a sniper rifle doesn't take skill but a 1 head shot kill way out does a BR. It was a close call because my 2 most used weapons are BR and Sniper but i went with Sniper, wielded by the right person it would easily destroy someone with BR. This is kinda like that show on Discovery, Which warrior would win, the one with a Battle Rifle, or the one with a Sniper Rifle?????
The best weapon is the br, for gneral combat. But other weapons are necessary for differing situation. I personally am a fan of the shotgun as a back up weapon, If everyone is comming for you at a base theres nothing better then fallng back around a corner and brigning out you shotgun
This poll is too generalized. You should have said something in your title like "Which weapon is the most versatile?" and just add the realistic weapons, and excluded the weapons that are just plain ridiculous in your poll with your title (ex. laser, 7-wood, gravity hammer, energy sword, rocket launcher, fuel rod gun, etc.) because most people just choose it to be funny or stupid. The guy above me, DimmestBread, (I presume) that he meant, which is the most powerful weapon, or some variation, because of your generalizing topic. BTW, the rockets suck at ammo/kill ratio. Why kill someone on foot and waste one shot when you can just kill the tank behind him with two shots, and save your team from a lot of trouble?
well thats the point. I was trying to say that rockets can take care of vehicles and infantry quickly, which most weapons can't claim. Thats why I choes it.
The sniper is easily one of the more skill requiring weapons. If you intend to have a positive K\D spread by the end of the match anyway. You need to be steady with headshots, or quick with double shots/adjustments. Following the release of Halo 3 with the added bink and increased **** time for the sniper, calling the sniper 'the cheapest weapon in the game' is like saying that it's unfair Bungie made it so the sword will cloak with the player. Snipers are at a disadvantage in that any player can unscope them just with a tap. A little splash damage from a grenade, a stray SMG, AR, BR or even Magnum bullet, or one intended at the sniper, can make their job increasingly difficult. As to the question, BR is my call. But honestly I can't tell you one weapon is best. None are the 'best'. it's completely reliant on the situation.
i say assault rifle because, well i'm just good with it. i'd have a shotgun for a backup weapon though.
