I'd say roll with Metagross and TTar for sure and bring in either Lucario or Breloom. Breloom or Lucario should be your lead. Although if you do choose Lucario, you want to have it know Swords Dance and either Crunch or Stone Edge or Ice Punch. And Breloom would want Substitute instead of Stone Edge (put foe to sleep, set up sub, get two guaranteed focus punches). So your team should look something like this: The lead: Lucario @ Life Orb Hasty Nature (actually if you can, get an Adamant or Jolly natured one) Swords Dance Extremespeed Aura Sphere (consider Close Combat) Crunch/Ice Punch/Stone Edge or Breloom @ Toxic Orb (w/ the Poison Heal ability; that part is key) Adamant Nature Spore Substitute Focus Punch Seed Bomb Metagross @ Choice Band Adamant Nature Meteor Mash Zen Headbutt Explosion Earthquake Tyranitar @ Life Orb Adamant Nature Stone Edge Dragon Dance Crunch Earthquake --- Iron tail is horribly innacurate and sees very little use among competitive battlers.
I'm gonna start breeding Pokemon, give me about a week your FC and what Pokemon you want. I can level up to lv. 50 but that's where I stop. If you want it to know certain moves include that also. Message me here
Haha join the club. If you want some business learn to breed perfect IV shiny pokemon on command. I'm trying to learn this and I've almost got bits and pieces down. It's really complicated and technically all legit. It's freakin time consuming though. If you're curious here is the link. Do it. You'll be glad you did. Swords Dance Lucario is a monster and he doesn't take damage from TTar's sand stream ability.
Ahh yes RNG abuse... thats how I got some of my shinies. The catch is getting your SID to do it. Without cheating that is...
No cheating here, good sir. ^_^ I bred a shiny Happiny through RNG abuse. Got it to a level 50 Blissey, reduced its EVs and checked the IVs. I had 31/31/29/27/30/31 (HP/Atk/Def/SpAtk/SpDef/Spd). I was pretty happy with that. However, I have yet to replicate that much success.
I actually did look at that. Maybe you think you can make sure I got this right? Shiny eggs: 1) Turn on game and soft reset 2) Find out seed via Elm method #3 is where I'm not sure 3) For HG/SS, do you still use DPPt Egg PID (w/ ID, SID, and seed) to find the frame you need? 4) If so, then call elm or use the radio to reach that frame. I hope I got the shiny egg part right.
I think so, but the thing is there have been times where I've done that so I should get a shiny and I've gotten no shiny so I dunno whats up. Like I said I'm still trying to get the hang of it myself, I bred that Happiny on sheer luck.
Im in bit of a pickle here, I have a team consisting of Feraligatr, Tyranitar, Arcanine, Magnezone, Bellosom, and Altaria. Anyways when I was playing today I noticed that Altaria isnt going to cut it and I need a replacement, I just dont know who. Types I would want to replace Altaria with are: Another Dragon Ghost Psychic Fighting Dark (I know I have tyranitar, but he is mostly just for rock/ground) And im the type the trainer who likes attack over defense, and I need a pokemon good in Special Attack.
Dragon isn't that amazing. There just a chain, everyone uses them because their opponent does. Spiritomb is Ghost and dark and can use psychic or metagross which is AMAZING.
altaria has proven pretty useless to me as well in my ruby/diamond. i raised him up through lvl 80 and he still just isnt up to par. dragon types are meh. Kingdra though, that mofucka can hit hard. ice isn't super effective against him which is kickass. If i were you i would either replace with a dragon that's half something awesome, or steel. You definitely should throw a steel type in there imo.
Yea I got magnezone, which is just beast. Altaria is just a wall (142 Def/ 166 Def) with low health (187) Anyways I may add espeon, I just need a new eevee. Ill just put up my potentials: Dragon: Salamance/Garchomp/Flygon Ghost: Drifblim/Spiritomb Psychic: Gallade/Espeon/Metagross Fighting: Gallade Dark: Honchkrow/ Spiritomb
I can give you an Eevee. I have 4. I'd go with Gallade or, if you're looking for a really high Sp. Atk., I'd recommend Glaceon. It has an extremely high Sp. Atk. Though Glaceon would leave 3 of your team weak to fire.
Anything Altaria can do, Salamence can do better. Salamence, Dragonite, Kingdra and Flygon all have great stats and solid move pools. Plus, few types resist a STAB dragon attack. Spiritombs are worthless, they can't pack a punch nor can they take a hit. Metagross is god though, and if any one of you try to tell me otherwise, I will fight you.
