Lol, i had that dilemma before. Use a Peliper. Or use a wailmer or Prinplups evolved form (Steel/Water(**** YEA)) or kyogre or Walrien. Then for flying use Zapdos, Ho oh, or moltres. The only pokemon that can know both are Mew and Pelliper and Wingull
Dragonite and salamence can learn both, but at the time it takes you to get them there your better of using them for other purposes. Me niether,I have faced most trainers up to this point, and beat the elite four multiple times. I suppose its because i have dont bassicly no training against wild pokemon.
Dragonite and salamence can learn surf? Also, does anyone know how to find a pokemon of a certain nature, I want one that has a beneficial nature but I just cant find one, are they really rare or is there a trick to getting one
What's the pokemon? The best option is to breed, unless it's a legendary then you gotta do the SR method. If you want me to breed it though I will, I've been on a breeding spree recently.
it seems to me beneficial natures are more likely for stats that that pokemon is good in. i dont know, maybe im just lucky, but i got an attack beneficial nature in two or three tries for my blaziken, metagross, scizor, and gallade. lonely for scizor and blaziken, naughty for gallade and adamant for metagross. if not then its just random, i dont think theres any way to influence it.
You can up your chances at specific natures using certain pokemon. Pokemon like Ralts or Abra can have the ability Synchronize, which, besides making an opponent have your status condition, also has an added 50% chance of making a wild pokemon have the same nature as the pokemon with synchronize. Basically, if you go into a battle with your Abra/Ralts/etc that has synchronize and an Adamant nature, against say, a wild Hoot Hoot... that Hoot Hoot will have a 50% chance of having an Adamant nature. So if you want to get a certain pokemon to have a certain nature, you can get a synchronize pokemon with that nature, and then use it against the pokemon you want and so on... Just another way to do this.
Anyone know a pokemon that is a good choice to teach surf. It seems the highest base speciall attack for a water pokemon (don't want legendaries) is 111 and thats empoleon but I don't really want starters either unless I have to. And I don't want my dragonite and tyranitar to know surf.
Gyarados... if you don't have one that's good, get one. Mine pretty much single-handedly took down Lance after the 16 badges when my Gyarados was about 8 levels below his Pokemon.
Can't really get a gorebyss and I was thinking of omastar as well. I think i'm going with him even though he is slow as butt.
O_O" Went onto my Heart Gold last night. I put up my Shiny Level 30 HM Slave Gyarados, wanting a Gengar level 50+, for shits and giggles. Go to the GTS and get a Gengar at.. Level 100 Mischievous Nature Substitute Shadow Claw Shadow Ball Will-O-Wisp ATK : 251 DEF : 140 SP.ATK : 296 SP.DEF : 249 Speed : 256 Uhh... o-o"
Dang, you got a pretty sweet trade right there. I just put my Red Gyrados up in trade for a Bulbasaur, which I'm going to level, Breed and put the original up to trade for a charmander. I'm just about to add in one of the seven Totodiles I have in hope of getting myself a Chikorita. This Wi-Fi **** be pretty cool.
Thank you, thank you. Also, if you get a Charmander, breed one for me. I want a Charmander STILL and a Roserade (Budew/Roselia is fine too)
Ugh this Shiny Mewtwo wont shine. I think I'm at a little over 4200 SRs, which isn't bad, but its annoying.... SHINE ALREADY MEWTWO!!! SHINE!!! lol
Turns out I can't get a Chikorita from the GTS because I haven't actually seen one. Does anyone have a Chikorita that they could breed and trade to me? I could give a Totodile (or I could breed my typhlosion and give a Cyndaquil) to you in return.
I got all the starters. Give me natures and I'll get you pokemon. EDIT: Well my busy week is finally over people. I actually have time to play Pokemon. If anyone wants me to breed them anything or wants to swap a legendary for the dex entry, just make a request and I'll see what I can do. I can breed almost every baby pokemon, and between me and my cousin, we have most legendaries too.
