So I got the hang of halo 5's forge and I'm pretty good at making aesthetic places. But I can't figure out one thing. Scripting. I can't even find a scripting tutorial on how to make a door go up and down. Any reply can or maybe will help! Thank you.
Should the mechanism be an automatic process or should the door be controlled by a terminal or something similar?
as buddy is suggesting with his question, there are a lots of ways you cuold accomplish this. I am close to releasing a pre-fab I call the "perfect auto-door", but it is probably more than whta some would need for their maps. Part of the decision on what to do with auto-doors has to do with whether you prioritize using fewer channels/variables, or fewer #of scripts. let us know if you get stuck or don't underestand something someone has already said.
You could reach out to members of the scripting guild for help by joining the forgehub discord server and using the @scripters_guild tag to message all of them. If you are more specific on how the door operates I am sure someone can let you know the best way to implement your design
