Halo 3 isn't that old, Halo 2 became one like right before halo 3 came out Edit: and they can make more money this way haha
Usually, Platinum Hits Xbox titles are priced at $20, so when Microsoft/Bungie decides to lower the price down once again, which in my opinion won't be for a little while, then Halo 3 will become a Platinum Hit. Then again almost all of Halo 3's content came with Halo 3: ODST so I wouldn't doubt if Halo 3's price dropped any time soon.
