Remake Platipus 2.0

    Technically, at this point it's Version 2.2.6. But who's counting?

    First thing's first. this map is NOT finished at this stage. I'm still trying to get the hang of setting up maps in Reach. For example, Flags are not spawning inside their holders, they are also not exactly spawning where they should. This map has a tiny change to it's multi/single Flag/Assault setup then other maps. At least it's meant to.

    Red Flag spawns in Blue's base But the Blues have to get it BACK into your base to score. Assault is similar. Blue's Bomb spawns in Red's base and they must retrieve it and plant it in THEIR OWN base to score. It's a bit different, I know, but it's tons of fun. It seems more chaotic at times as well, but always in a good way.

    On to the basics of the map. Platipus 2.0 (yes I know it's really spelled "Platypus") is a remake of one of my Halo3 maps. Gamers loved it, at least those that knew about it. lol. It's bigger then the original and has had additions put on her bill. A small two team based map, it sets up both teams next to one another with on a wall between them. Or in this case, a glass wall. There are a total of four paths between the bases.

    Ground Level
    It's what you would think. Mostly open but no vehicles (except one mongoose hill in KOTH). Rocks and a structure provide cover. Team games provide more structure to hide behind, Stationary Gun, & Man cannon for each base. KOTH adds a path for the Mongoose behind Green Room (or on that later).

    Floor 1
    This is where the bases reside. In their front, is a ramp leading to the ground. On their inside wall (nearest the map's center) is a path that runs the length of the center wall and connecting the bases at the wall's end.

    Floor 1.5
    This is the same height as the bases. Except it's far our and over the water. each base has a single staircase that leads to a covered bridge walkway. Great for sniping. Between these bridges is a circular room (The Green Room). In team games this room consist of grav-lifts to the Green Room's 2nd floor. Both doorways (and the grav-lift hole) consist of energy blockers. For FFA these are turned off. The Green Room is bound to be the camping spot so be careful when entering.

    Floors 2 and 2.5
    On each bases' outer end are rock covered bridges (ran out of rocks) They both lead to the Green Room's 2nd Floor. This is where you'll find the Sniper Rifle as well as the Neutral Flag/Bomb

    Travel above the ceiling and you die instantly. I did this to prevent Jet-packers from camping up top with the Flag/Bomb/Oddball/Sniper. The ends of the map are currently noted with small barriers. I may change this to the Grids. Don't bother traveling to the island either, you WILL die.

    The map is big enough to support 8vs8 but it may be overkill.
    As I said before, this map is still under construction as I'm learning the Reach's new setup system. Any help will be greatly appreciated. You can use the original Patipus map from Halo3 as a reference (Foundry map required). I currently don't have internet or electricity at home, so I have to work on this map at a friend's house every other week. :( Please be patient with me.
