i have to say i don't really see much point to purely aesthetic maps, i mean, there nice to look at and all but if you can't play on them there's not much point to them. thats just my opinion
I made all of the maps by myself. Occasionally people dropped in to see what I was working on but that was about it.
i have the perfect game type for this. one sided assault with enemies on warthogs circling the ship, while turrets fire upon them, and the weapons should be swords and pistols only. a man cannon on the ship should also be pointed at the warthog respawn with barrels and fussion coils as another defense
i don't know man, its a good idea, but the execution wasn't very good. If its purely a visual map, there should have been a lot of other features, and everything shouldn't have been so sloppy. i'd love to see a functional pirate ship game soon though, keep trying, you'll get it.
thank Ppr 8 Kut for me finding this thread, but ya, this was really good for its time, though, now, i would suggest remaking this into a much neater pirate ship, yarhar!
i find it amazing that you can do this in forge, forge is the smartest thing bungie has ever done. i actually suck at forge ant rarely make a good maps but on the other hand i mape somewhat fun game types. but beside that man this is a really good map im in love with its features pure genious
..You do know this map was my first aesthetic map and made in a time before interlocking? It was back when Masons weren't around and this was around the first time a map had been used only for visuals but on a large scale.
Just to let you know Coolant I saw a complete copy of this map on Bungie. Just thought I'd tell you. Srry I dun have thread
Damn it, I lost The Game! But seriously nice work on this map, it looks awesome astheticaly and seems functional as well.
