I just got photoshop and am already bamboozeled. I've used gimp for a while but just got the Adobe Creative Suite CS4.

First off, how do I insert an image?

As of now. Thats all I'm trying to do, lol. If I come into any other problems or you can suggest anything else or somewhere to go to find tutorials and whatnot then don't hesitate to notify me. Thanks.

You can go to File - open and pick it from there.

Or you can just copy and paste it from the enternet or anything like that.

It should have multiple little windows you can just move around. Don't maximize them and you can see them all. Just make sure you either paste it in the right window, or have the right window selected when you hit open.

When I hit open there is only one window available (and selected) it just opens up another. So much trouble for a such simple task. lol.

Ok, well. It opens the new image in the same window but in a seperate tab.

Ya. And I'm pretty sure some versions have a little bar at the bottom were you cac see all the images instead of the menu bar like with GIMP. And you can click and drag one image to another in that bottom part. At least thats how my old version works.

I can't take their photoshop course for three years because thats when I get my only class of free choice, which I might fill with Creative Writing or something else. All the other classes are filled by the classes required for three majors. lol, no luck in doing that.

Just ask the teacher at some point. Like, two minutes of his time.

Take the move tool and move the image to the tab you want it in. It's really simple.
