that's what you get for being a retard. You should've counted on it with all the 'auto-detect' crap Bungie has out there.
But the point is, we're not only trying to get whatshisface unbanned, but also to show that just because you're glitching doesn't mean you're modding. If things continue like this, they'll start cracking down on other glitches like UBG, just because it's a glitch.
Good, glitching is stupid, and proves nothing except some people have way too much time on their hands. Play the game the way it was designed, don't try everything possible to exploit it.
So, you're saying we should stop interlocking, stop geomerging, and etc. And this was too funny to resist. And you have my bow. And my axe!
Add me to the list sharp. I'd sign even if it was real mods. Oh, and ty, it was a glitch, not a mod, so i do not understand why you would think he should be banned. Glitches are fun to do, especially if you can use them to clone yourself. The only time when i don't support them is when it disrupts the game itself, or noobs use it to their advantage in matchmaking. Edit: Nice one nemi.
That's right, let's get rid of geomerging, and don't forget interlocking. It certainly would delete the spams of needs more interlocking. I happy to of written the letter Sharpshooter. Anyone wondering about the "We" part, I'm talking about the people in the petition.
i agree bungie shouldnt ban u 4 that. And the whole if u have inaprropriate screenshots ur banned thing is retarded. I mean ur supposed to be 17 to play and when u buy it 4 $60 u should be able to do whatever u want in it.right or wrong?
I don't necessarily agree with that. Keep in mind that you need to be 17 to buy the game. What about people who have little kids, brothers, or are just a teenager looking to play a good game online? Many people don't want to bother with that stuff, let alone have it be directly sent to them. The game is rated mature, not adult, and we've seen what people do with the reconz pics. I don't want every five seconds for somebody to send me a gay porn pic. Is that wierd? I also think it's reasonable for them to ban mods, even though i really enjoy having them, and have personally made a few in halo2 myself. If there's a possibility of it screwing up your game though, that automatically gives them the right to get rid of it. There's also legal issues that Microsoft creates. So necessarily, they have to whether or not they want to. Again, not referring to the glitch. Just to the mods part. I am actually on the list. #60
Add my name to the list as well. My GT is Debo37. As far as I'm concerned, glitches are always completely and totally okay, solely because you're using the game's code against itself, and nothing more. If you can do something within the parameters of a game without having to manipulate it via any external methods, in my opinion it is completely okay. Banning people for a glitch is just as asinine as banning people in Halo 2 for superbouncing would be. A glitch and its subsequent exploitation are the fault of the game's developers/publishers, and as such should not merit any form of punishment to users of the glitch, as they were simply playing the cards that they were dealt, if you will.
I though Bungie didn't allow petitions, but put me on there, because this is simply a glitch based on the code of the disk, unless somebody lied, but I think it is quite unfair. Spartan_R14 GT: SLS Guardsman
