Which is worth more, or who goes further. A person with talent, or a person with Persistence.

One with persistence will, through trial and error, succeed at most if not all things he or she attempts at.

One with talent is good in one aspect or situation and are finished.

Good question, and I can see both sides of the argument. With talent, a person can naturally succeed with little effort. If football is their nack, they have a better chance at making it on the NFL time than the persistent one. Immediately skill (or talent) in an area is what most people first look at. However, the naturally talented person will not give everything in life their fullest, because they are used to the fact that certain things come easy.

On the other hand, you have persistence, the ability to try and try again until one succeeds. However, this does not mean that the persistent shall succeed. Some things are not meant for some people, and persistence can only help so much. But, when that person does find something they can do, with persistence they will succeed and excel. I believe that this will result in them getting further in life, because they have the drive to do so.
