What is a great way to make a perfect interlock? I've been trying to make a map but it is very hard to get a perfect interlock so that the when you walk it isn't bumpy. Most of the time its when I'm connecting something with a bridge its hard to figure out where to place the bridge (or any other object) in mid air without having it slanted at one end or alittle short or a little to tall. How do you (advanced forgers) get it so perfect? Any help would be appreciated from the Forge Hub comunity.
For useing double boxes, and single boxes, flip them over too the bottem, it's flat and easyable to walk on
Heres some things I do if I just can't get it perfect. 1) For square things like boxes or double boxes, if it's a on the ground or an easy - floatable height, just make a brace. After the first box you place, add one double box on one side, and a second on the other side so that half of the brace boxes stick out and the other half is on the first box, too make sure its flat. I'll try to demonstrate. ......|............| ......---------- --------- --------- ......---------- ......|...........| 2) For making a bridge perfect in the air, I sometimes stack double walls/walls/fence walls to get the right height. If it's high enough, you can start with double boxes or a single box. This help?
I always use the stacking method whenever I interlock, it makes things easier and ensures accuracy. If you wanted to interlock a bridge in between two double boxes, then I would place a bridge on top of the boxes spanning where I wanted to place the actual bridge. At this point I would suggest placing a box or a wall next to the bridge for the following step. Next change the respawn times of the boxes and start new round. Then take a bridge flip it upside down and place it underneath the first bridge and snug against the wall. Now save and quit. That's how I would make a bridge in between two boxes.
