Can someone point me to a really good write-up of how to gain access to the halo5forge.exe and no longer get an error message when trying to select it? Trying to get performance apps like afterburner able to even select this exe as a 3d program for it to monitor, or to create a rule in Windows FIrewall for the app. I have tried a few permissions tutorials already, and they don't seem to work. Even when my account, which is the admin, has ownership and full writes, it will not directly open the .exe, nor will it allow me to select it in ANY program. Please help! also, if someone has a list of ports for forwarding to halo 5 forge so that I can be sure that i am getting optimal network performance, I'd appreciate it. also, also, I have a good bandwidth and ping, and I was lagging in a game earlier... I guess it could also have been the host. Is that how this game works? That one of the players actually hosts the game, or are we just creating "rooms" on a MS server? Thanks,
(crickets)... seriously, there are no good articles or write-ups out there about these topics? Please point
I haven't come across anything like that, unfortunately. It's not really my area of expertise either. Someone must know what they're doing though... A document going through some of that stuff would be really helpful.
it may be a non-issue, as I have played some other matches since, which have not seemed laggy. Could just be the people I was connected to that particular night. Thanks for checking
