Panorama is a very large map that covers all of the Montana and Alaska regions of Forgeworld. It was designed with Capture the Flag in mind, but also works well with Big Team Slayer. The topography does not allow the two sides to be completely symmetrical, so I balanced them as best I could concerning both weapons/vehicles and base layout. Each side has three small bases and multiple other bunkers. Not including the mancannons that cross the gorge, each side has one mancannon, one gravity lift, and a one-way teleporter. Vehicles: 2 Banshees (one at each base) 8 Mongooses (3 at each base, 2 closer to the middle) Weapons of Note: 3 Sniper Rifles (one at each starting base, one at the circular base in the middle) One Spartan Laser (on the uncovered bridge) One Plasma Launcher (on the covered bridge) 2 Rocket Launchers (one on each side, not at starting bases) 2 Concussion Rifles (one on each side, not at any bases) 2 Shotguns (Alaska side: base of the furthest inland mancannon; Montana side: at sender node of teleporter) Overview of Montana side: View from above Montana side base: The mancannon gets you on top of the tower on the left: The hidden gravity lift near the Montana base: The one-way teleporter on the left sends you behind the arch rock in the upper middle: Montana side rocket bunker (foreground) and sniper base (background): Although it is on the Montana side, the Sniper base is pretty much the same distance from either starting base because the Montana side is significantly longer than the Alaska side. The gorge between Alaska and Montana: You can cross this by either of the two bridges, by mancannon, or by Banshee. It is possible to take a Mongoose across either bridge and the mancannons, though I don't recommend driving one through the covered bridge. Overview of Alaska side: View from above Alaska side base: The two back bases on Alaska side: A sneaky way to get to the flag: A sneaky way to get to the secondary Alaska base: Alaska side bunker:
