    PALISADE

Palisade is my first attempt to ever make a Grifball map and it turned out to be very well. Its hard to make an original Grifball map but I never knew there was never a Grifball map on Tempest. So yes, you will need DLC to get the map you lazy kids. Yeah yeah, of course a Tempest map always needs the teal cool laser everyone loves. This map needs a few addons and tests before I can release it. I can assure you it would turn out great. I got everything working right now. Now before I bore you, he are the pics.

Here is the overview of the map:

This wall was somewhat a pain of the ass to make.

Here is the base with the sexy assault ball ;D

Note: I forgot to state that this map is too far small for Reach Grifball. Your going to need to use the Vanilla Grifball gametype when I release the map. Thanks!

I actually like the braces you have in the center to mark the middle of the arena, but any sort of change in levels can wreak havoc on people using evade. A little bump might not seem like much, but when you know the exact distance needed for a hammer lunge, that bump can make a big difference. The same goes for any bumps you have with the coliseum walls. Around the edges this isn't much of a problem, but the floor in the center needs to be absolutely smooth. I don't even have the noble map pack, so it doesn't matter to me, but it will to anyone who tries to play grifball competitively on your map.

Oh! I forgot to say this map will only good for Vanilla Grifball. But yeah, I do need to fix some bumps, im not very good at phasing.

You can tap RB/LB then A really fast while holding down the left/right stick (I can't remember which) to get a really small movement up or down. It's precise enough that you can create your own z-fighting without coordinate snap. This should work for the brace larges too so you can get the coliseum walls lined up and get the brace larges lined up close enough to have almost no bump.

You could also try merging the top/bottom (again I can't remember which) of a tall tower so a small part sticks out of the floor then give it a color. The color shows up really well on the edge.

I didn't notice this was you with your new avatar.

as far as grifball maps go, this has got to be the best looking one i've seen. good job man. my only suggestion would be to raise the whole map a bit so the beam goes straight through it. maybe add little plates where the beam goes through for aesthetic purposes.

I don't know much about tempest, but if the beam is safe and can be walked through you could replace the braces on the centerline with the beam going along the floor. That would make it work fine with evade. If the beam can kill people it needs to be behind glass or something in case people are thrown by gravity hammers (some people play grifball without friendly fire).

Not to be pessimistic, but I'm not sure the base sides match your theme you have going on with your side walls. Those side walls are impressive btw, but it just seems like those stunt ramps stick out like a sore thumb for some reason.
