I might be getting a new paintball gun, my birthday is soon, and i plan on getting lots of monies just wondering what brands you prefer, i was lookinh and seen some well known brands in the -200$ range, what brand and type do you use, and should i maybe go higher than 200 dollars?

    Check these

For Markers, there are a couple really good brands that are on that webpage, though Tippman seems to have been removed from the page. For Equiptment and Visors I'd suggest JT.

For 200 i would go with a 09 Proto SLG or a 09 PMR. now if you want to spend more 300 - 400 you can get a Dye Matrix 7 (what i have) and i promise you you wont need a new gun after that.

I have played paintball for 3 years now so all i can say is if you want your gun to last a while dont buy a spyder :( they are hard to fix and arent very customizable and also use Nitrogen(HPA, or Compressed Air are the same). It will increase the life of your gun. As for markers, go to Paintball, Skateboard, BMX, Airsoft, Apparel and Snowboard Gear at ActionVillage.com to look at their markers. For 200 i would recommend a Smart Parts Ion. Although i dont really like them myself, they are highly customizable and are basically the only good gun available for 200. Step it up 100 dollars and your in the right ball game. The Dangerous Power G3 is a beautiful gun for 300 and so is the Smart Parts Epiphany. These both require Nitrogen to operate and you also want to invest in a fast hopper(Viewloader Evolution 3) I would not personally buy the Proto Slg 09 mentioned by Lil-zdub. My friend had one that broke many times and proto has horrible customer service. So thats my advice. Good luck and have fun
