So guys, it looks like I won't be forging or playing xbox for a while. Last night I tried to open a frozen window to let my cat Rupert inside. The window broke, right as I was putting all my force into getting the window open. There was blood everywhere. I ended up with a 3 inch gash in the palm of my hand, and about half an inch deep. When I got to the hospital, they were doing tests on my fingers to see if there was any nerve damage. They poked each finger with a pin. I could feel all of the pokes until they got to my pinky finger, which was unresponsive to anything. I can basically bite my pinky as hard as I want, and still feel nothing. They told me I had a bit of nerve damage and gave me 7 stitches. They said if I don't do the surgery, I might never get the feeling back. So today I had nerve re-construction surgery on the palm of my hand, where the nerves were severed. I asked the doctor if I could take a picture while he operated. He said yes. Spoiler The bad news is I won't get any feeling in my pinky for about a month. Talk about pins and needles! I hate that feeling. So until then, map designing on paper, or one handed forging, because I have a cast around my left hand. The good news is that the surgery went according to plan. I'm glad it was probably my least important finger too. I'll be on Xbox here and there. Just not sure if it's even possible to play Halo for the time being. That's it! Holy **** bro! That looks pretty darn bad. I hope you and your hand and pinky will soon be better. I can't imagine what it would be like not to feel your pinky finger anymore, really hope that's not going to happen to you. I'll sort things out for you concerning your BIOC lobby, don't worry about it.

Well this is interesting. I do wish you all the best and for a swell recovery. I have enjoyed playing Halo with you and I look forward for your return. More importantly, make sure you don't strain that hand. you dont want to muss up the work that those surgeons did on you. I've never had that sort of work done (save some molar removal whilst they were still impacted), but that looks rather severe. Its touch to tell since I assume that the cut had to be made deeper for the work to commence, but that's no minor work done. That picture is just fascinating. Nobody seems to consider it, but we are all just bags of meat, and that illustrates it rather well. The flesh is just so intriguing... I'm sorry if that sounds creepy, i am just fascinated by anatomy and the sort of things you have brought up. Once again, I wish you the best of luck on the healing process.

Shitty. Nerve damage can be a real pain in the ass - I can't feel my pinky toe and the one next to it on my right foot. Makes cutting my toenails a real gamble lol Good luck in your recovery. I look forward to seeing your next map, after having your recovery time to plan it
I honestly don't understand how you could look at your hand when it was opened like that. When I had surgery on my arm, one look and I was about to pass out...

This. I don't know how you managed to pic that when you were being operated on. But I know how it feels. In 6th grade when playing baseball I got hit on the left side of my face really hard. If it hit me an inch higher or an inch lower I would've had to get surgery. Shits tough to deal with. But hopefully everything gets better with the pinky
