So I'd like to show you guys what I've been up to so far this weekend. So far this things called Overhang, for obvious reasons. I started this guy with no plan whatsoever, just went to the falls and said "hey I want to build a map here". I built the overhang, then the dishes and it went on from there. It's a completely symmetrical map, with bases residing in the basement. I imagine most of the fighting will take place around the center dish and the center of the basement. So far it seems the map will be good for 2v2, however I might expand it to fit 4v4, I don't think it would be that hard. And now to the part most of you skipped to anyway Overview of the map, from afar Overview from above and left of blue base View down the top floor from blue base View down the basement from blue base View from one of the man-cannons, which plop you close to the center of the top floor dish Right so now that you've seen the pictures, I have a question. In the second picture it is apparent that there is a hole in the back of the roof of blue base (obviously there is one at red as well). I've put a man-cannon on the floor of that base so that players can go from top to bottom and vice versa. Should it be there? Should the hole be there at all? Last thing, this map is only about 50% done so I would rather you didn't comment on aesthetics quite yet, but feel free to make suggestions otherwise. Cheers v clinical v
I love the area you put the map in and I love the structure, it looks serene and forerunner-ish. It looks really big for 2v2 though, I think it would be best for 3v3. Best of luck.
