Hey there, I wanna show you my 2nd creation: Description: Osiris is a medium sized, symmetrical map, designed for Slayer, Oddball and King of the Hill. Actually,it was meant to be an evolution of my 1st map, Paragon, but it ended up in its own unique way. The basic layout is a squared 2-story-donut (kind of). There are two main structures, the 'sniper house' and the 'FRG building', which are across of each other. They are connected by a central man-cannon. Both include two grav-lifts. On the side-areas are some kind of bridge/corridor-ish structures. Also, there are 4 fusion coils (respawn set at 75s), which add an interresting and tactical component to the map: First, they help to nerf those beneficial spot on the map by adding some 'risk', and second (which I think is totally awesome ), you can shoot those fusion coils at the snipe spawn to make the sniper fall down into the man-cannon and boost to the opposite location (just like lockout in H2). Osiris features a plenty of unique sightlines, which makes it great for sniper or swat matches, too, and some decent aesthetics (imho). Nevertheless, this map's still in beta-state, and is still to be play-tested (by now, there were only 4 player FFA's...). Plus, here and there is some z-fighting left, which I couldn't get under control with my usual methods (somehow, the pieces keep resetting after each save...).
