The area around the origin point on a map determines the map lighting and the reflection on glass and other objects. I’ve gone through and located the origin points for all Forge canvasses. Alpine: -200, -80, -30 Glacier: 50, -90, 230 Parallax: 0, 0, 0 Note that the Blue Planet and Ascendance skyboxes use a different origin point which is outside of the map
So forging closer or further from the origin merely changes the shadows and glass reflections, or are you saying that it can alter the light map % as well?
The reflection that you see on glass and other pieces is a cube map taken from the origin point. The lighting is also based on the origin point.
That much I was aware of, I was curious if you discovered if the map location has an effect on light map or not.
