Hello, i'm Halostar, and I have made a mini-game map of one sided soccer that I like to call OneBall. The object of the game is simple, it's just like one sided flag. The defenders keep the ball from going into the goal, and the attackers have to get the ball into the goal. All players start out with gravity hammers and brute shots. With the brute shot it takes 5 direct hits to kill, but the gravity hammer is still a one hit kill. Friendly fire is off, and the game can hold up to 16 people! (6-12 is reccomended though.) On to the screenshots! The Defenders Side and the "Goal" The Attackers Side Hit the ball into the goal... Go through the teleporter on the Attackers Side... Don't Stop Now! Keep Running! what i'm guessing is that you need a goal to move something that was on top of the teleporter. anyway very nice map, very original ive seen alot of other soccer maps but there both sided but theres no scoring system, but i have doubts about the gameplay... ill give you a: 4.5/5 originality 3.5/5 aesthetics ?/5 gameplay ?/5 fun factor
After scoring, the ball knocks over some barrels on a reciever node which allows you to go through the portal in the back.
I have tested this map through all of its revisions and have had some influence on the gameplay(rules). With me everything has to be perfect or it isnt acceptable. So i know this game runs smoothly and actually quite funly(yes its a word...duh...). He had to make the goal bigger to make it more fair for the attackers. There really was some time and effort put into making and testing this mini-game. So trust me it works(well). I also am going to make a soccer map. But the scoring system will much different and mine will be two sided. =P
