what i would do (and probably will do) is pick a map any map and think about what the concept behind it was, then try and reverse it. eg. the new map "avalanche" is supposed to focus on vehicles so you could take out the vehicles and make it focus on normal combat, now this ia a bad example because avalanche is WAY too big to be used without vehicles, but you get the idea, it gives a new feel to a classic map which is what forging is all about
it also says u need atleast 100 posts not many ppl use it but i actually found potential in Gaurdian. welcome to forgehub
I'm working on a sandtrap level right now, it has the right elements for a assault game or ctf.... but I didn't realize you couldn't put containers on that map.... such a noob I am. I'll just have to figure out another way. But sandtrap is probably my favorite level all around because I like the wide open spaces .... la la la... wide open spaces....
I like all the DLC's best of all, but besides them, i enjoy the larger maps (Sandtrap, Valhalla, maby Last Resort). It really comes down to what you are making though.
Umm.. I'm pretty sure its up to you to see the forging potential in different maps. I think that's why it is one of the requirements, to show that you can think of new fresh ideas on many maps.
yeah everyone has there own forging style, you'll just be sitting there one day and it will come to you, if it doesn't, wait, good things take time. and good things make you guilder (hopefully)
