Ever since I have had Foundry, I have always wanted to make a pinball machine. After countless hours trying to perfect it, I have finally decided that it was good enough to put on Bungie.net. The pinball machine from the front. The pinball machine at an angle. Here's how it works: You should start in a caged area. Roll one of the soccer balls down the ramp and go through the teleporter. You'll arrive on a platform with covenant carbines. Grab one and shoot the flippers to activate them. When you lose a ball, walk backwards and you wind back up in the cage. Repeat. Those who wish to just watch should go to the teleporter on their right from when they spawn. Point System: Red (overshield): 1 point Blue (active camo): 2 points Yellow (costume powerup): 2 points* * In the Rotunda, yellow is 3 points. Arrows: 1 pt for going over the first arrow, 2 pts for the second, 3 pts for the third, and 5 pts for hitting the "Glass" (shield door). Bumpers (wire spools): 2 points. Guard Bumpers (sign A + B with shield door): 1 point Download Omega Pinball here
hey this looks interesting but your second picture is not showing up and it is custom powerup not costume and please embed the rest of your pics!!!
I found several pinball machines before trying to make one myself, and none that I found really worked that well...
I like the fact that you intigrated the whole "Shot to Flap" technique, i havent seen a pinbal machine to do that. also, you made it so you personally push the ball in, other then the ball being re directed towards a man cannon. This two things really let you feel as if you are in more control of the ball and allow more interaction with the game. good job, looks great.
I just checked the dates. Mine was published two days before his... But it sure is wierd how the names are only one letter off... I'm not saying that he stole it from me, I'm saying that that is pretty wierd.
Ah, well he posted his more than a month and a half ago and you just posted yours (on fh). That would explain why i didn't see yours, because i don't try to sift through all the junk on bungie and come straight here. But anyway that doesn't matter. I did try out your map today and it was pretty good. I had two problems though. Half of the time when i launched the ball it went straight in between the bumpers to where i couldn't hit it. Also the fusion cores in the bumpers were a little hard to hit (especially in a fast game like pinball) because they were sandwiched in between the pallets and whatever else was behind it. Two minor problems in a good map! Shouldn't take much too fix. =)
This is a really great pinball map. I have found little flaws/defects while playing this map. Good job!
