    Introduction

This Halo Reach infection map depicts a mid-sized sector of a UNSC Space Cruiser. The cruiser was abandoned and forgotten after captured zombie test subjects escaped loose and infected 5 soldiers. What still remain are the infected that lurk the silent darkness, waiting to infect others that dare return. With close-quarters combat and a claustrophobic feeling, teamwork will be your best chance of survival. This map fully supports 4-16 players. It took me 2 days to make and more than 4 beta tests to finish. The map is Omega-7 and the gametype is OMEGA Zombies. Special thanks to Big Colt564 and ShadowNoVa0 for helping me beta test and plan the map out!

    Patch Log

8/12/2012 - Patched how players could glitch out of the map by entering a specific teleporter at a fast speed, causing them to fly through the roof and out of the map. ( I added kill barriers as well to help prevent it)

8/12/2012- Released new version of Omega-7 with small aesthetical tweaks

8/20/2012- Added one pistol, two assault riffles, and one DMR to the map with limited ammo for extra supplies

8/20/2012- Released Omega-7 V1.4 with one more man cannon patch. Also added another man cannon for provided support

8/26/2012- Fixed how some forge blocks were off center or were not exact in alignment. The version number will remain the same.

[IMG] The aesthetic qualities of Omega-7 truely bring out the beauty and theme of this space cruiser.

[IMG] Running alone is never a good idea. Teaming up is the key to success.

[IMG] One of the many holdout areas. I made this map with the full intention of not making any too overpowering holdout areas, while still making them fully usable and reliable.

    The Mass teleporter

The Mass Teleporter is a last resort escape. This teleporter allows you to be randomly teleported to any of the 7+ receiver nodes at random. It's a last resort because you can either spawn across the map and get away from the zombies or you could spawn right next to the entire hoard, so it's very risky.

    Stradegies

    • Conserve your ammo! Ammo is very limited so stay together and use whatever you can find hidden on the map
    • It's best to find a spot to stay put in. Runnig around wildly will only make your chances of survival very slim because zombies can come out from any corner.
    • Higher elevation spots are not always the best spots for hiding. All players in the game will have lower gravity and most of the higher spots are more open and more dangerous.
