well, the title says it all. basically, i need help with these three things, also, any additional information about racetrack forging will be gladly accepted :] 1. i need to know how to bank the curves!! (how do they do that!?) 2.most of the tracks that i make are plain and tasteless, and are often waaay too easy. any tips on avoiding this? 3.when i do curve the track, it isn't as flush and even as i'd like it to be, and oftentimes will cause the untimely, accidental death of the player. :frustrated: any help will be GLADLY accepted :] -Aqua out!
1. To bank a turn, you simply need to have the track going up (incline) and then start turning. The track will bank itself. 2. Try adding different features to your track. Instead of just having flat banks, include: hills, wave banks, jumps, etc. A little variety goes a long way. Aesthetics also help spruce up a track. 3. Once you find a good forging technique, this will be easier to prevent. Just take your time forging, and if something isn't exactly how you want it, don't say "it's good enough." Do it over. You'll be happier in the end. Here's a few youtube videos showing my technique. There are also several more tutorials on youtube. Ghost merging has also made racetrack forging a lot easier if you know how to use it properly. My advice would be to check out all the different racetrack forging techniques out there, try them all, and use the one you like best. You'll get better over time as you continue forging, so keep at it. Hope that helps.
