Odyssey is a FFA/3v3 map that I plan on forging when Reach comes out. Its a somewhat small and symmetrical map and I plan on setting it up for oddball and slayer.

The map has about 3 levels and is built around an octagon center, above the center and on the highest level of the map is a bridge.

The sketchup design for the map is not completely finished, but once I actually begin to forge the map in Reach I will add more walls, protection, weapons, etc.

I added railings, and some columns at the top.

That seems absolutely tiny for a 3v3. When you said you werent done with your sketchup, do you mean there are large structures missing? Or do you just have minor tweaks to make? Because you're definitely gonna have to add a lot to this map if you want six players on it. Right now it looks as if its a tiny big bigger in diameter than the center of guardian, and thats not a whole lot of room to play on.

Lol, the first picture deceived me, and made me think you lied about it being symmetrical :p anyways, suggestions on what you should add (I know you said you were gonna do more when Reach comes out, but these are just some things to include) and don't add:

Railing (don't want people falling from their hard-earned spot at the high ground, do you?)

Make the big building thing (the one in the center, with a bridge going across it) more interesting (it looks boring)

Add those fancy 'glass covers' or whatever to the bottom floor to keep the low ground guys cover from the high ground guys

Don't add cover for the top floor. Makes their hard earned perch easier to assault, making the team want to move inside the building or something.

I do plan on adding quite a bit onto the map. If you see where the staircases are on each side I plan on adding some big structures and rooms there which will make the map much larger.

I will update my post once I make more progress with the sketchup so dont worry.

Hey, I was gonna make a map named Odyssey! Well, good thing I thought of a backup name for it. (No I won't tell you it, you'll probably steal that one too!)

Funnies aside, the map looks very good. It definetly could use some work, but you're not done with it, so that's alright. It kind of reminds me of The Mantle by MetaWaddleDee. Anyway, keep working on it Xang, it's coming out great!

I think the map will work only 2v2 or 1v1, unless you build places around it. Still it could fun chaotic gameplay with 3v3.

Im not a forge expert so do take advice from others but I like it. It is on the small side and I think it could have something added or just make everything wider to make it bigger. But to me its a great idea to go off of

You just one up to the next item size of just about everything here, it would help with sizing it for 3v3, it also might brind in some interesting ideas for building. You could replace the as I can see too numerous double walls with ramps and walkways and merge one side into the wall so you hide it's railings leaving a railed path that could wind up the side just like you have now using the double walls.

Perhaps some walls around the structure to provide cover and move the area of battle away from just the center structure because as I see it who controls the highground will win EVERY time.
